Another user sent me this screenshot of what he sees:

Well a missing box indicates to me you have a hack installed like vbspell which breaks the box.

Now as far as the second image with a small box you can try this edit so it appears to me your issue here is unclear which is your issue.

Ok Chuck. Never heard of vbspell or anything like that so I don't know. I'll look at the other thread.

Not a problem at all.

Those are the two things I pull up here on missing or malformed comments box. If there is anything else let me know.

Chuck, just a question, but shouldn't the code Michael included be in the newest build instead of a manual change we have to make? It currently isn't in there.

Chuck S September 27th, 2007 10:49 AM

I think that is something Michael posted for users to try he may include he may include that if enough users suggests that helps. You can ask him in that specific thread.

Just a FYI.. I added the additional code. It's no longer fixing the issue for members.

Chuck S September 27th, 2007 03:47 PM

It is not additional code you replace the present block with the new code. This is mine and works fine so try that.

Chuck.

I am aware that you replace the code. (Actually, I am correct in my wording. The example by Michael specifically states that the only thing changed is what is in bold. That is what I added, and what I'm referring to when I say "I added the additional code). And I'm stating, it does not work. Having you constantly state "it works fine for me" is becoming very frustrating, because I know I have shown that there have been many bugs with this build that are happening on our site that are not happening on yours.

We have a help ticket system for our site. I have 6 different tickets, from 6 different members, who have cleared their cache, who still are having issues with this bug. All are using IE. What additional information do you need from me to get this fixed?

Chuck S September 28th, 2007 11:01 AM

I would suggest you redownload the build. Michael has informed everyone here with his latest release all bugs are fixed and I show they are.
