5.6.2 versus 6.0 for non registered users 5.6.2 versus 6.0 for non registered users, as I don't want registered users. www.applepan.com I don't want to play policeman, I just want people to see photo w/o login and have the same access as 5.6.2 Display and extract EXIF information from images? YES Even when I login I don't see the new EXIF icon on new uploaded images.. only from earlier 5.6.2 uploads only. Enable slideshows? YES You must be registered to use this feature. I'm not here to sell images, cars, ETC. I just want people to look at images and have fun, w/o hassles or having to be a registered user. Why take way what worked in the past.... /Rex... |
http://www.reeftalk.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=416 I can see exif or slideshow as a guest here. How about you include some links to your site so we can have some information to try and assist you. Thanks |

You need to turn off the setting in registration options in admin so that guests can view the pictures. |
Hi Chuck, This is how its been setup from day one.... http://www.applepan.com/registration_options_961.jpg /Rex.... |
Okay but this is the conditional your tripping on slideshow script. I dont see how you can have that set to no and get the error. Its only gonna trip when you set it to yes. Code: Content visible to verified customers only. |
HI Again, I'm only doing and checking thing u have asked, I'm not a programmer .. my question is: all of this stuff worked in 5.6.2 and now is broken in 6.0 and even in the last build, IE last night.. this is from my website. if ( ($User['username'] == "" || ($User['username'] == $Globals['pp_lang']['unreg']) && $Globals['reqregister'] == "yes") ) { diewell( $Globals['pp_lang']['noreg'] ); } /Rex... |
Rex, I am trying to explain the error that you are posting comes from this conditional I posted which tells me the switch your talking about is set to yes not no. I would be glad to look at your site if you sent the proper info to support@photopost.com for url admin login and ftp. I am not seeing this error on my site or any other site if the setting is set to no. |
