I want to create a customer header tempalte in vb that feeds the $header variable in the header-inc.php.

Any ideas on how this can been accomplished?

Sure in your header-inc.php file you would add in a line in bold below as I note and load an alternate header you create in vbulletin like so.

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

In the current Photopost it seems the code has changed slightly. I found for this and replacde 'header' with the name of my new template but nothing happened. Any ideas?

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

I got it to work. I actually misread your initial post thinking that the code you put was there and needed to be modified but it needed to be added. I added the line in bold, and I kept the change I made in my last post (since I think it also specifies the header) and it works.

Thanks
