Search Comments not finding main image in database 1. Search in gallery 2. Type in any keyword 3. Change to "search comments" 4. Press execute search The new page will show with all the previews of the images that fall in the parameters of your search. If you click on the thumb, it takes you to a screen that states "Photo not found in database", but the image does exist. It is only doing this w/ the search comments search. Link to our gallery |
Hello what version of our software are you running. I do not show this to be an issue in our present code but do remember sometime in the past an issue like this with an earlier version. |
We are running version 5.62. |
HMMM maybe a possible older 5.62 I dont have a 5.62 to test on but have you redownloaded the build and reuploaded the core PHP files? I myself and running pp6 and search comments and when viewing the results can click the thumbnails and they work fine. |
I forgot to post a link buddy showing the comments portion of the search test I did to verify that everything works http://www.reeftalk.com/gallery/search.php?searchid=920 Please try my suggestion above and then you may post a link to your site here if you still have an issue |
Hello Chuck. Isn't 5.62 the most recent version of Photopost? Shouldn't tech support have a copy of 5.62 installed some where to check issues like this? Can you please take a look at the code, as I've already posted the URL. Thank you. |
Okay brand New installed 5.62 and I do not see this issue there either? http://www.omegatron.net/gallery/search.php?searchid=1 Can you register an account there and see if you get the issue I think the link above shows there is no issue but please do see just incase I am not understanding the steps here |
Chuck, I am aware that there is no issue in a brand new install of the software, which is why I did not place this threads in the BUGS forum. This is an issue in our gallery and I need to know how to fix it. I have provided a link to our gallery. Please take a look and advise on how to fix the issue. Thank you. |
Hey buddy my suggestion would be to redownload the 5.62 source code and reupload the templates directory and main source php files especially search.php and search.tmpl's You are able to do this? Since we are not able to replicate this with clean code this is our suggested course of action to ensure you have all the proper version files on the server |
Thanks buddy. |
Not a problem I take it this has solved your issue? |
