| Entire Gallery - Photos not visible!.. no change to path.. Please help!
Not sure what has happened. I have made no changes to my paths but now all of my image links are broken. The data is intact, the path is correct, what could this be? www.thescraphabit.com/photopost
Thank you for your help!

It seems the link for the image is adding the member id to the image files name. Where is this generated and why could it have changed?
Example:
an image file name that is: ATOWN_puppy.jpg
is becoming: 1456ATOWN_puppy.jpg (with the 1456 being the member ID)
this file does not exist so of course won't display
Thanks

Are you sure you have not updated files or reverted to older photopost files?
I suggest you download the source and update all your files except the config files and header footer stylesheet

No, I haven't updated any files.
What do you mean by source? I'd hate to mess things up even worse.
Thanks

Chuck,
Any chance you can take a look with admin access? alma@thescraphabit.com
I uploaded a new photo and it appears correctly, so I'm afraid to change anything.
Thanks
Alma

I've test one more thing... I went into phpmyadmin and looked at the actual database. Those prefixed #s before my image file names appear in the database image field. If I remove the #s the image appears in my photopost gallery fine again.
I would obviously hate to have to do this manually for each image. As much as I need this fixed, it is more puzzling how this happened.
I'm requesting a backup from my ISP to see if perhaps taking it back a day will fix this, but again. How could this happen?
**************
I found that a couple of images are working..... the big image, not the thumbnail. The large image location also includes the memberid prefix but when this location is entered into the browser it redirects to the location without the memberid prefix. Here is an example of that: http://thescraphabit.com/photopost/s...o=7533&cat=571
How does that redirect happen?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks as always!
Alma

Hi Chuck,
I didn't know what else to do... I edited my database to correct the image file names and the images are now appearing correctly.

I posted another problem. I should make sure my files are current. I am 5.31 and need to go to 5.62. I've ordered an upgrade service and requested you, Chuck... if you can do it
Thanks
