How to make Photopost my homepage?

I currently have Photopost installed under my /photopost directory and my Vbulletin installed under my /vbulletin directory.

I'd like Photopost to be my home page, meaning the Photopost index.php is the first thing that appears for anyone who visits my site.

What's the easiest way to do this?

Just copy index.php to my home / directory? Or is it a bit more involved than that?

Thank you!

You could move photopost to your web root

Ugh. There would be no way to do this without moving all of my photo directories to the root as well?

For example, could I just create an index.htm file in my root that automatically triggers the Photopost index.php somehow?

I just want users to see Photopost as soon as they land on my site.

Oh man. I followed the directions and moved everything from my photopost directory to my root.

Then I changed config-inc and config-int.

Now Photopost no longer works.

Problems:

1. I cannot access the "Admin" area since it keeps trying to access the admin-index.php file using my old path (via the Photopost directory). I have no idea why it's doing this since I definitely changed the config-inc and config-int to my root and saved both. I typed in admin-index.php manually and logged in, but it then tries to access misc.php via my old path once again and gives me a blank screen. Typing in misc.php manually leads to a blank page.

2. The photos do not appear in the photo gallery. Instead, the path to the file itself (the wrong, old path) appears as a link; clicking on the path link leads to a blank screen.

I need serious help. Can I pay to have someone sort this out for me?

The thread I linked shows you how to move the application. If you can not get into admin then you need to edit the settings table in the database for photopost and update the server paths and urls in the database
