How to prevent copy duplicates: Members Gallery showphoto filmstrip

In Members Gallery show all users photos (cat=500)
How to prevent Copied photos assigned to additional categories from showing in the filmstrip above showphoto?

The method below resolved this same (duplicates thumbnails in filmstrip at showphoto) issue for when viewing most recent images from the index page and I'm hoping there will be a similar solution for Members Gallery showphoto.

Currently using 5.62 and hope to apply same to PP6 when we upgrade our main sites soon.
