Logging out

i can seem to log out. After I click on logout a screen appears confirming that i logged out. Then I am automatically sent back to the home page and logged in. What do I have to do to reduce this potential security threat.

Thanks,

john

I would suggest you check to ensure both your photopost and forum cookies are both set like this

cookie path /

cookie domain .domain.com

It would appear your setting two separate cookies

Can't login now??

Changed the path to .domain.com and that let me log out. Now it won't let me login. I click on Login, The screen says it was successful, then it takes me to to homepage and the Admin and "Logout" links aren't present at the top. What do I need to do? Thanks

I hope you mean you set it to your domain name with a period in front right?

I will go back in and change that.

The problem is I can't get back in. I tried to login from another computer on our network and it didn't work there either. What should I do?

After I enter my user name and password, the Login Successful page appears, Then it takes me back to the home page where I am not logged in - no Admin or Logout links at top. Tried logging in from another computer but it had the same problem. How do I get in?

You can use vbulletin sql window if your photopost is in the same database as your vb

UPDATE pp_settings SET setting='.domain.com' WHERE id=173

I don't have vb on my site yet (maybe in a few months). Since I do not have vb, how do I get in?

Not sure what the "Update" is for in your message above.

www.tropicalvibe.com

I don't know how to create a test login, especially since I can't login. I can email my admin login/password if you provide your email to me.
