| Can't get watermarking to work
Hi Chuck,
I read many of the posts regarding watermarking. I can't seem to get mine to work. Can you help me out? my url is tropicalvibe.com/photos. I copied my settings below from admin...
Here are my watermark settings...
Enable watermarking of photos with overlay image?
yes
If enabled, position of overlay watermark on images.
SouthEast
Full server path to watermark overlay image.
/public_html/Images/tv_logo.gif
Here are my show photo options...
Enable on-the-fly image protection
This option uses the watermark.php script to serve images
yes
When using on-the-fly image generation, do you want to overlay the watermark image?
yes
You can use this feature for on-the-fly watermarks in combination with the on-the-fly image generation.
yes
John

/public_html/Images/tv_logo.gif
That to me does not appear to be a full server path
You can also turn this off if your using the on the fly image generation
Enable watermarking of photos with overlay image?
Also if your using on the fly generation you want your watermark to be a png image

| watermarking
1. I don't want to change the original so on-the-fly watewrmarking is what i want. I understand that I need to choose between permanent and on-the-fly. Not sure where to turn off permanent - admin>watermark options?
2. How do I create a .png file from my .gif file?
3. can you give me an example of a full server path. I am a neophyte when it comes to this.
Thanks.

I would suspect the path to your png watermark is not correct
