Exclamation Thumbnails and medium pics not showing up

Hi, I have recently installed photoshop and when i was testing it i noticed that some of the thumbnails and medium images are not showing up. I have used the database utility to recreate them both but still nothing.

Gallery is here: Gallery

My suggestion is to check permissions on the thumbs and medium directories under each data directory and ensure they are 777 and the files themselves are 644 or 666

Thanks that seemed to work, noticed some permissions were not correct. But how can this be fixed? Is there anything software side that can do this? I dont want to go edit the permissions everytime someone uploads. Or if i create a new category.
