Limit number of thumbnails on view image page?

There are too many thumbnails down the right of the screen, which cause a long gap between the photo and the comments. Is there a way to limit the number or thumbnails displayed down the right of the page?

Well, now I go back to that link, and the long gap is no longer there! But if you browse through our gallery, you will see what I mean. I've had many questions about it.

It seems to only do this when the URL has "recent" on the end.

Okay I see 7 thumbs not the normal 6 but currently this is not a configurable item
