help - problem recovering from database failure

my host had a problem and my database was corrupted. it affected my main site as well as my PP Pro app. I restored the database from a backup 1 week previous and the main site worked, as did phpMyAdmin. however PP Pro didn't come up. the support people at my host said that the full path to my files had changed from

/services2/webpages/n/e/...etc.

to

/services4/webpages/n/e/...etc.

so I made that change to the config file. now the PP Pro came up but there were black placeholders where the thumbnails were supposed to be. so I went to ADMIN & told it to scan the database. now there are no photos showing. it SAYS that there are photos and comments, there are categories, but photos aren't there. they ARE still on the site...

any help would be appreciated.

I think that will explain everything you want to read on global options and storage options and your paths

okay....... I am using version 5.5.

in step # 8 can you explain where these options are? I can't seem to find them in any of the configuration pages.

Current PATH
Default PATH

OR the

"check here to revert values back to default" check box...

In Admin Storage Options down the bottom of the left hand list first make sure the global option paths are right
