I would love to show it under forumhome.

vbulletin would glady show you the steps needed to add some script under the forumhome script

To my knowledge you would want to setup a plugin in vb to the forumhome_comeplete hook and then use a print variable in the forumhome template to print that where you want it in that template so you might need to alter your script a little
