under the admin control panel and edit categorys

There are no moderators assigned to this category.
There are no moderators inherited from its parents.

What do you mean it does not let you set a moderator in edit cats?
As far as moderators you have given them global priviledges so they should see edit buttons on photos etc and other stuff they did not before

| ok - I want to set up the system so that i do not have global moderator but have
I want the moderators to be assigned by category and not globle thourgh out the whole system - as i think the system be photopost should work like is that some of the user that sign up will be given moderators then as a set up the categorys or edit aready set up catergorys i want to sign a different users to moderator there own category and not to monitor categorys they are not assigned to. Does that make sence now - please review two replays i sent before this and the last reply before this one and see what i have set up and what did i set up wrong for how i want the system to work.
THANKS

You say you cant assign someone to a category but do not go into what happens when you try to assign a moderator to a category. This is what I asked above so what happens?
1. Set moderators usergroup to allow mod access
2. Do not set the switch to do global moderators
3. Move mods to the mod usergroup
4. Set in edit cats the category moderators

| ok when i set up a category there is a drop down to select moderators
When i select the drop down as i add or edit a category i do not see any name of the moderators and i think that should be the name of each of the user that are assigned as a moderators the one i set up as a moderator was whitejeep and i should see that name in the list and do not - that is the problem i am haveing setup my category. so i am doing something wrong but do not know what it is.
THANKS

Admin => edit categories => moderators
You hit moderators for each cat and type in the exact username of the person
I have tested this and it works fine

| oh - you have to type in the exact username of the person
Well that was not obvouse from me to do that - i thought that the names of the people would lile come up in a list - oh it is problely due to my disblility that i did not figure it out - i just asumed that it should list the users that are assigned as moderator status be listed and i would jsut pick from a list - well i guess that will have to be the first modifcation of the site. So i need to ask do you know of a modifacton done to support that functulity i described above.
THANKS
