PP: No response to time offset

My pp install just doesn't respond to the time offset thing on matter what I put in there.

The wierd thing is that since it is intergrated with smf, the dates are out of sync for parts of the day since smf is offset to GMT but PP doesn't respond to the offset and the date clicks over at 0400GMT while the smf forum clicks over at 00:00GMT.

Have followed all the instructions but no joy. This is just a minor irritation but it is an irritation still.

Any clues where to look? I am assuming there is somewhere evaluating "time = server time + $offset_variable."

Cheers.

You can set a GMT offset in the Global Options in Admin

You would add back in the time to make your install go back to GMT

I found that bit and added the difference in hours. However, it does not react to this. The same principle applies for smf which reacts with the same time difference added. The site has both integrated and for about 4 hours every day, the calender on the smf part is one day ahead of that on the PP part.
