how can i cut the image name??

I want to know that how can i cut images names & user names in Recent Photos, Most Popular Images & Random Images coz of long images names my forum skin is looking weird, i just want to know how to put (...) after a 20 words of username & image file name, plz help me & let me know which files & which templates with which codes i have to edit
