Make category a page?

Hey everyone--love the product.

What I would like to do is make a specific category a page. For instance, I have a category named "collections" and would like it to be viewed as the index under www.thedarktower.com/collections <--folder on server.

I figured out how to copy the index over but I am wondering if I can hard code it to call a certain category number from photopost to display the album as the actual page.

Hoping its simply adding a catID line to the copied index file on the collectors root.

Did you consider using rewrite rules in .htaccess?

I haven't because I am kind of a novice at this hole stuff.

Its like the doctor rule for me "first...do no harm"
