Move Photos & not break links?

Most of my users when they first start to add photos, just upload to their Member's Gallery. Then of course, they will put links in their forum posts and in other sites as well.

After a while, they decide to create albums and move their photos to these albums in an attempt to organize their photos. This breaks the links in the original posts that referenced these photos.

Is there some way so the photo stays stored in the original cats file folder but shows up in the new cat. That's what would happen if I copied the photo.

You can leave the photo in its original category and in upload options turn on optional categories and you can edit a photo and copy it to 2 additional categories if you choose. The photo stays in the original cats so links do not break and it will also show in those other categories

Sorry, I wasn't clear. Members are always re-organizing their albums. So they are moving photos from one album to another. They don't want their pictures to be in 2 albums at once.
