Registered users cannot upload photos

Very strange, I had photopost running on its own, i have now reinstalled it and integrated it with the latest vbulletin.

It now users VB3 for integration.

I have checked in admin option: allow users to upload photos: yes

I have edited the usergroups to allow registered users to upload photos yet there is no link for a registered user to upload photos.

I as the admin do however have the link to upload photos.

I created a test account and signed up as a registered user but no upload link.

It is as if its not even seeing the usergroup permissions because I tried (for testing purposes) to set unregistered users to allow uploads, but there is still no upload link for them either.

Help?

ok i figured out the problem....

It seems that photopost recognises usergroupid "4" as registered member whereas vbulletin recognises usergroupid "2" as registered member.

Usergroupid 4 in vbulletin is COPPA so I had to change the COPPA permissions in photopost to set them as I wanted them to be for Registered users.

Its a fix, but not the ideal solution.

Okay you then did not correctly install the program with vb3 integration

Looks to me like you installed as a standalone Photopost because the usergroups imported are those of a standalone not vb3 integrated

Right but initially does not look like you installed it this way. You can try viewing that photopost usergroups table and delete every group except admin which is 6 and then go in and resync groups if you have correctly install things

As I noted the group structure your usergroups table has is a standalone install not vb3
