Favorites not working

When I login as an administrator, I'm able to add pictures to "favorites" and zip download them but when I login as a user and add pictures to "favorites", the pictures do not show up under favorites. I must be missing something..what?

I have tested this and see no issues with this function. There is nothing to distinguish admin from regular user. You hit add to favorites and it is added.

Chuck, it's just not working. I keep adding pictures and checking "favorites" and nothing shows up. I can't figure it out.

I am running 5.62 and it seems to work fine here is a test user on my site with two photos I added

I did not see any images under your favorites. I'll just keep playing with it and see what happens.

Thats because it shows the favorites of that user so you need to be logged in as that user.

The function works that I see

I found the problem. Pictures in a private album do not show up in the favorites. When it's not private it shows up but now when the user zip downloads it, the folder on the desktop is empty. The permission is set to yes.
What's happening here?

You can test on my site with the login I provided.

I tried downloading and there are no issues maybe your zip viewer? Maybe a corrupt file who knows.

Also when asking for support it might help for you to provide links to your site that has issues.

Login as chuck, pass... chucky. There are 2 albums:not private and private. The image in private does not show up under favorites.

However, for some reason I'm able to download from the favorites now.

I just see one favorite and its titled not private.

I added two more and your favorites work fine that I see all 3 view and I downloaded all fine

Now a word on private images.

If someone sends you a link with a private album with a password a cookie is created when you view that album and sure you can add favorites no problem

However do realize that cookies do expire so in reality you may not have permission to view an image later if you do not enter the password to view the private album so yes in that scenerio the photo is not going to be viewable but zip download is different its not doing file permissions its just downloading files that are marked in your favorites

I don't know if my last post went through or not so I'm doing it again.

That's what I'm talking about. There's another album called private that's not appearing in my favorites. If you click on My Photos you'll see it-Private Album. It was added to Favorites.

If you want, create a private album and add it to Favorites. It doesn't show in Favorites.

I believe you might want to read my response above about private pictures

First off albums are never added to favorites so only photos. There is a private photo in my favorites that I see for user chuck

As stated you can add a private photos all you want but make sure as I stated in my last reply you better be sure you have visited that private album again if your password cookie expired because thats why you can see it and then later can not.

Nothing one can do about that your only allowed to see a private photo if you go to a private album which of course means your using a password which creates that password cookie. Later on if your cookie expires you dont have permission to see those photos anymore
