Code needed for # of photos in user's gallery

I need the code to call up the amount of photos in a person's personal member gallery in the database. This code will go into the postbit_legacy of the vbulletin template and needs to be inside parentheses, so that the number of photos shows in my postbit on each post.

Ex: Gallery: (123) With the 123 being the number of photos in my personal member gallery.

I already have the link that the postbit can link to to take someone directly to a members gallery, I just need the code to give the number of photos in the members gallery who has posted.

I suppose your asking about a vbulletin modification here. Well simply put you need to open whatever vb file your dealing with and issue a mysql query for each and every poster to grab there number of photos.

Not a good idea as thats on average 15 more queries a page

There are plenty of forums that have a user Gallery link in their profile info that resides in a square box under their avatars that contains a link to their PhotoPost Gallery and the # of images in their user Gallery and I haven't heard of problems.

I wonder how they are doing it.....

pretty much like I said and not something I recommend since it adds queries but if thats what you wanna do you can do it.
