Date and Time issue

Hello...

I am sorry, but I can not seem to find why it is happening.

In both PhotoPost and ReviewPost the date and time are really off. (12 hours behind)

We are running VB3 Integration and have the offset of the server set to the same setting as in our forum. GMT -6

So what this does is actually makes it -12.

The only way I have found to match the time is to go +6 for PhotoPost and ReviewPost settings to offset the time.

I am not sure of this setting as the description is just off on it's use in the Admin area...

GMT Offset
If you are running VB and want the server to display the time as an offset of GMT (for example, to the timezone where your server is located), enter t

Please advise on the setting of this option.

Thank you.

Set GMT to 6 not -6

Remember VBULLETIN uses GMT because its made by people in London. Most software offsets time from the servertime it is installed on but not them so this is why we have this switch. You need to make the time from your server back to GMT so if your server is in central time which it looks like to me you need to add those hours back in with a 6 to make it 0. Putting a -6 in there is compounding your issue double.

Hi Chuck...Yes, kind found that out playing around. Seeing the setting talked about GMT I kind of thought the same setting was needed.

Thank you kindly.
