Default to thumbnail view?

When viewing view "showgallery" ..you can select your view option as "Thumbnail view only"....

How can i make this the default view?

You would need to hack your cathead template and remove say this

Content visible to verified customers only.

Sorry to bring this back, but I have a question regarding something very similar...

I too want my forum to only default to the Thumbnail view, but does hacking cathead and removing the select box allow it to default to the category one, or does it just prevent it from being selected?

Setting it in edit cats will be the default view. The cathead select box removing that all that does is remove the ability to change the default you set.
