watermark help
 

ok i just cannot get watermark to work.

i am using imagemagic with the the path

/home/pjswarri/pjswarrington.co.uk/html/watermark/watermark.gif


i get the error when doing a database scan on watermark

Error creating watermarked original! Error code: 1

Command: "/usr/bin/composite" -compose over -gravity NorthWest /home/pjswarri/pjswarrington.co.uk/html/watermark/watermark.gif '/home/pjswarri/pjswarrington.co.uk/html/photos/data/500/club5.gif' '/home/pjswarri/pjswarrington.co.uk/html/photos/data/500/club5.gif'

can anyone help

Do uploads work fine if you do not watermark?

hi

it is linked into vbulletin so i dont want to post an account with admin rights here.

We did not ask for an admin account ;)

A regular account to upload is fine

ok

username is test123 and password is test123


also i cannot bulk upload from another folder on the server, the default is it comes up with is

/home/pjswarri/pjswarrington.co.uk/html/photos/uploads/1

and i want to bulk upload from

/home/pjswarri/pjswarrington.co.uk/html/warrington

but it if i put photos in /home/pjswarri/pjswarrington.co.uk/html/warrington it dosnt see them and allow me to upload them

any ideas

Is that directory 777 and change you checked the box to skip upload and process files in directory?

You have not given the user specified upload permissions

Doesn't the watermark need to be .png?

yes the folder is 777 and i as admin should have full permission shouldnt i? or where do i go check

If your using imagemagick the watermark should be gif

If your using GD2 or ON THE FLY watermarks then it should be png

If you check the box to bulkupload as long as your path is right and permission to access the directory you should process images

Your not uploading from a url

Your bulkuploading so you make sure you place the proper server path where asked on upload page that directory has proper permissions and images in there and you check this box

Skip upload and process the files already in your upload directory

If your checking some other box no wonder nothing processes
