Spiders included in image visit counts?

I assume that spider visits increment the visit count. Is there a way that can be turned off? I do that in my ecommerce app now, and would like to do the same for my PP install.

Only way to do that is to place some robot text file in your root directory not allowing any bots in your photopost directory

That would prevent the gallery from being indexed! I want the spiders to index the content, just not trigger the visit counter for each image. It's just a small bit of code to bypass the update if the USER_AGENT is a spider.
