Thumbnails resize

I want to resize my thumbnails or not use them at all if possible. They are way too small.

I want my front page to look like this >

Thank You for the help.

pic sizes

My sizes are 600 x 600 pixels @ 72 dpi. Shouldnt they be much bigger? I want at least 9 on the pages. When I upload to other photophost galleries the pics are much much larger. I know that they usually have the upload settings at about 125 - 150k

Thank You!

what did you do? My thumbnails are a bit larger, what did you change. I have been working on this and reading the forum for a few hours now.

Thanks for your prompt reply.
