Question after logging into photopost all topics come up as read in phpbb2

I just installed photopost. And I am slowly making my way through some teething problems.

Once I have logged into PhotoPost (whether it be by logging into there first or using the phpbb2 cookie) it sets all my topics in phpbb2 as read.

Is there a way around this?

Cheers

Lizzy

There is nothing in Photopost that would mark your forum topics read that I am aware of. All we do is create the two phpbb cookies which make the user logged in. To mark forums topics read etc I beleive usually in most forum products this is a separate database table and action

I will have to investigate it further... I am pretty sure it was to do with my cookies, but they are set correctly now...

The phpbb integration has been around for along time and Photopost does not have any issues with phpBB and would not cause any interaction on your forum since all we do is integrate with a login.

Oh I think I worked it out. It was due to not offsetting the GMT time. I had set it to +10 instead of -10 to get it back to GMT time.

This should stop the posts showing as read.

phpbb2 does not use a GMT offset thats only something you set for vbulletin or invisionboard forums since both of those forums are made in england they use GMT instead of server time like every other program
