Slideshow broken

Howdy

Slide show is just showing broken images, I've searched the forum and best I could find in relation to this issue is the disabling the on the fly watermarking but did not fix my problem.
I've also checked all my PATH and URL setting.
Gallery seems to be working fine otherwise its probably something simple Ive missed?.

check my error log and this is what it says

Strange seems to be adding the number onto the end of the jpg when i look in the folder files are just named candy-astro-2.jpg, candy-astro2-1.jpg

In slideshow.php remove in that file three times any instance of the following variable

$rand
