Index Page Not Displayed

I'm having trouble with my PhotoPost index page. It recently stopped working, and I can't seem to figure out what might have caused the problem.

Here's what's going on:
MyDomain.com/photopost/index.php = Index page is displayed
MyDomain.com/photopost/ = Blank page displayed

Unfortunately, most of the hard-coded PhotoPost links on my site don't include "index.php" in the URLs, so right now most visitors can't get into my site's photos section. All sub-category Index pages load fine. I've looked for maybe an errant .htaccess file, but there's none in my PhotoPost directory (or any other directory that I can find). I searched the PhotoPost forums with no luck. I tried inserting different lines of code in various config files that seemed to have fixed similar problems that have been reported here, but they haven't had any affect on mine (I removed them after testing). Does anyone have any idea what I might be wrong and what I need to do to fix this problem?

You don't have a blank index.htm or .html in there eh? I think that would be called by default, before .php, but i'm not certain.

You dont have a directory index specified in your server hosting and should

Try creating a .htaccess file with this line in it and upload it to your server webroot

DirectoryIndex index.php

Good news! Thank you for the fast response! Its much appreciated!! I guess I was looking too hard to find a problem and missed something that should have been obvious: there was a blank index.htm file in my PhotoPost directory. Good idea, NSXTC! I deleted it and now everything is back to normal.
