How can I have people uploading pictures that not are showing on the index page?

I wan´t the pictures to go directly to a specified category and not on the indexpage. But people should still have the opportunity to view the pictures in that category.

Can I do that?

The recent photos block is designed to show all photos. You would need to hack your code to do something other than that

You can do a search on exclude categories
