Photo Size

What I want is that photopost must save "only one" medium image (set to 600) and NOT save the original uploaded image of higher size. So that in all my server harddrive will have only two copies of an uploaded image i.e. One thumbnail and One Medium size image (reduced to 600) and NOT the actual image. Pl. tell me how this can be done.

Thanks

You mean one thumbnail and one large image resized to the size you want. A medium means you will have 3 images

So set your thumbnail size to what you want. Set your medium threshold to 0 and set your max width and heights to 600

You will then only get a thumbnail and a large image no bigger than 600

Question Photo size

Trying to get advice on recommended photo quantity allotments (average) for sites like the one I am using a shared server system.

So letting the member upload a max of 600 length / width, how many what would a good upload limit be some for gallery, and photo albums.

Just looking for opinions and advise to use available resources wisely from you guys with experience in dealing with this issue.

Thanks
