Uploading To Members Gallery

Is there a way to make it so that users cannot upload directly to the members gallery.

I want members to have to upload their images to the categories and then of course those images will show in the members gallery anyway.

Just turn off in admin => edit categories the option to upload to the members gallery in the cat permissions checkboxes.
