Recent Photos not displaying correctly

I enabled the "Recent Photos" option on my PPro index page and the images displayed are NOT the most recent images but, images (well, only the backgrounds) that were uploaded previously. Is there something in the program options that should be changed to enable the REAL recent photos to show on the PPro index page? (ALL other PPro pages, except the index, display "Recent Photos" correctly.)

I also noticed that the index page "Recent Photos" photo images are only the background for the thumbnail and not the image but, the links to the images work. (I had moved the images from one category to another which, I feel, MIGHT be the problem.)

Okay, Chuck, what do I do to fix the index page? Do I refresh the cache somewhere?

What do you mean it does not work. I see no issue with this function so you might want to post links here

Tested in both M$oft (IE7) and FireFox.

Make sure you upload all clean Photopost 5.62 files. Your site does not work like a normal site for sure

I'm sure that you meant my PPro is not normal and not the rest of the site.

I'll upload a fresh install and see what happens to the gallery. I'll let you know.

Nope. Didn't work. Performed a fresh install of 5.62. Same problem. I'm guessing it's in the database somewhere. (I disabled the option, for now.)

The problem was with the settings that I had under "Global Options" for the "photo view caching", "Load limit...", "Minutes to cache..." and "Use category cache".

I changed the settings from the defaults to "No" or "0" as applicable and now the latest images display correctly.

Thanks so much. The caching problem kept causing me grief until I read these instructions. Setting the Minutes to Cache to zero allows for proper updating of recent photos. Previously I had a 10 minute setting and it was caching for weeks.
