How do I change the "Home" link in Photopost?

I just re-installed Photopost on a different forum and the 'Home' link (next to search, profile, upload photos, etc.) points to 'http://www.mysite.com/gallery' but it won't load because it needs to be 'http://www.mysite.com/gallery/index.php' in order for the Photopost home page to load. I wish it did work as /gallery but since it doesn't I need to fix this.

Thank you

Try placing an .htaccess file in your photopost directory with this

DirectoryIndex index.php

Nope, it didn't work. Created an .htaccess file in notepad and uploaded to my root photopost directory but the 'Home' link still won't point back to the photopost index.

Try editing the pp-inc.php file and edit the topmenu function line 2969 and add index.php to the url

Hi,

There is another area I noticed which has the same issue:

'Home » Member Galleries'

Can you tell me where to change this setting, too?

You need to edit each script like index.php showgallery.php etc and change the $childnav line in those files to add index.php to that.

The correct option here would be though to have your host fix there server so that a site can be pulled up without having to type the index.php
