how do i use forum profile instead of pp pro profile?

i am using vbulletin 3.64
with pp pro 5.62

when you click on a users "profile" it brings you to a photopost pro profile, instead of the vb profile

i would rather use only one profile, the vbulletin forum profile for each member...

how do i remove these pp pro profiles and just use the vb forum profiles?

Simply not something you can do without code manipulation. The Photopost profile serves alot of importance for user management of things in our application and there is even a link to there forum profile shown.

i don't want two profiles for one member in one community, who would?

how can this be fixed?

vb gallery only uses vbulletin's member profile, why can't photopost do the same?

There is a hack in the hack section telling you how to do this, I take it you have not looked...

As Sybaris posts this is a hacking question. Photopost support personel are not here to assist in modification questions. I have responded how the program works and this is as far as we can state since we support our program how it is coded.

Vbulletin / photopost profile

Hi Chuck
I was searching info on the same subject and I tried the hack but it worked only partially. If would be great to be able to have on the admin the choice of a profile to be used. It also make sense to have just one profile: It is hard enough to convince people to fill up one profile unless you are myspace....impossible to tell them to fill up 2 profiles.

I changed the templates:

1) member.tmpl line 6:
Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.
2) profile.tmpl Line 31:
Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.
With that changes your members won't recoginze anymore that there is a second profile. :)

Do realize what you did was place a second forum profile link on that page. That exact page has a box that says FORUM PROFILE.

The first guy hack is worse in that he hides the entire photopost profile so users can not administer their photo and category subscriptions at all
