Modifying Verification/Registration Email

How do we modify the outgoing verification email not the link just the template? Can it be in HTML?

The template? The registration email is not html sendable. That would have to mean you redoing your scripts to support html header in that email. You can modify what the email says by editing the english.php language file in your languages directory and changing what it says
