| Making the default row revert back to default
I have my categories set to display 1 row and 4 thumbnails.
This works until a member goes to the right corner of the page and changes the "Per Page" option to something like 12. Then is stays at 12 for that user. If they log off and log back on it is still at 12.
Here are my two questions:
1. Is there any way that this option will default back to 4 after they logs off?
2. In the drop down menu for "Per Page" these are the options 12, 16 ,20, 24, 45, 60, 90. Is there any way to add "4" to this option?

1. They need to clear their browser cookies
2. No way to do that without you modifying your files.

If a users want to look at another users gallery and they want to look at it any other way then the default value then it gets saved to their cookies. Then they have to clear there cookies to veiw it the way the owner of the site wants it to be viewed. That is Bull&%#$. That is not a very good idea in my opinion.

That of course is your opinion but when I view a gallery or a forum or anything on a site I as a user set it up to display the way I want and in most software it is user configured. This is how most sites are. If you dont want users to be able to change the view then edit your template and remove the perpage option |

Yes most sites are set up that way, but they are also set up to let the user pick it in a control panel of some sort or lets them know it will change their defaults. Not like PP when you change a view it makes it your default without telling you.
It is not that I don't want users to change their view. I want it not to be saved to their cookeis. I have one of my PP galleries set as I said 1 row and 4 images for a reason and if the users wants to view it just one time at 12 per page then it should be just that. One time until he leaves that gallery or logs off then it should go back to default.
I think if the user wants to do a one time view of 12 images per page then he should be able to do that and not have it set his cookies to that default without it telling him it is going to do that. Having a persons cookies set without telling them is not right in my opinion. Your opinion may be different on this too. But when a program is doing something to my cookies without me knowing it then I am not happy about it.
If it is going to be set in cookies by what the user last viewed them as then I think that it should be an option in the admin area to allow that user to pick there default or not.

I am just here asking and offering my opinion and suggestions. Your part of the team so it never hurts to explain why and offer suggestions. No that the team ever jumps in to reply though.

Well if this is a suggestion please do post that in the suggestions forum. You posted to an actual support forum which is why I responded. True if you posted in the suggestions forum not always would someone respond there.
