User Guide or Detailed How To Instructions

Hello,

I am wondering if there is an actual user manual or detailed guide of how to's for the Photo Post Gallery (and the classifieds - will post that in the appropriate forum though).

I know that there is a very general user guide located http://www.photopost.com/manual/index.html that has some branches into bits of the program, but I am looking for a detailed user guide. Does one exist?

For instance, I would like to find out more information on exactly what making a photo 'sticky' does or doesn't do, how to stop the system from automatically emailing users when admin moves their picture from one category to another, how to get rid of the little statistic boxes underneath each thumbnail, etc.

There's alot of little things that I am interested in exploring about the program that a manual would really help with and save a great amount of time.

Nope the general guide is what there is. Some stuff you can ask how things operate here and from some of your explanations you need to modify code which falls outside company.

Example

1. Making a photo sticky makes it appear above all other photos regardless of how photos are sorted or positioned in the gallery display

2. If you dont want to use email then turn it off in admin options

Use email to notify users?

3. if you want to not show comments filesize views etc on the category display and showphoto displays then set the options to show those things to NO in showphoto options in admin. Now if there is stuff you want to remove beyond those options then you need to hack or mod your templates

Thank you Chuck. These are the kinds of things that I am looking for. Are there certain posts or sticky's that you all have somewhere that say what each of these options specifically mean?

Also, while I am bothering you for these things, can you tell me how to remove the "Statistics" box from the bottom of the page?

No there is not as I stated

To turn off the stats under sidebar options turn off the stats pal
