Quota exceeded

My users keep getting this message quota exceeded, I have put 0 in for the quota and still have the same issue, I have checked everything with the users and their files are all the correct sizing,
so I don't have an answer here. maybe someone can help me out with this.

Cheers

quota what is the exact message?

Simons March 2nd, 2007 08:28 AM

I can't replicate the error as it's only a couple of memebers who have experienced this.

from what I understand, they click to upload and save and it then comes back with quota exceeded

Well the exact error message is needed for us to respond here. Which quota has been exceeded is what is being asked here. I need to know that if I am to offer any advise. As far as quota's go you have 3. Filesize Diskspace and Upload Limit per day. You can set those to all 0 if you want to test but obviously whatever usergroup this user is in these are not set to all 0 so it is all about which is he triggering. He is triggering a limit your setting ;)

Sorry, they are referring to the diskspace allocated to them

Chuck S March 2nd, 2007 11:04 AM

Okay and what are you setting as their diskspace? Obviously your limiting this. If you limit it there are done. They need to delete photos to upload more or you need to up that restriction if you feel the need

this is the problem, i set a high limit of 50mb one omember who only used 168kb of disk space got the error another one today had not uploaded any files got the same error, so I put the disk space quota back to 0 and they still had the same problem

Have you tried clearing all uploads directories under your photopost uploads directory?

Simons March 2nd, 2007 02:11 PM

These are all empty

Chuck S March 2nd, 2007 06:42 PM

then something can not be set to 0 and I would suggest you get the users to give you their access and try yourself
