Icon Images

When I am at the index page for the gallery all the top icons are perfect, but when I click on an image in the gallery all the top icons are screwed up (not showing).. Just the name of the links appears. When I click on the properties of that link to see where the icon is supposed to be I get a strange address with a suffix like this

gallery/showphoto.php/photo/756/limit/images/ad/misc/newposts.gif

How can I correct this.

Oh yea, this an addon template.

In your vb styles admin for your custom style try making sure you use FULL URLS not relative urls in the styles admin

Nope

Hey Steve,

I am not having any luck. I am going into the image paths and putting the default location where I have the images at, but nothing. Same problem. I am putting http://www.mysite.com/forum/myaddedtemplate/images, but nothing.

I must be doing something incorrect.

I am going VB forum admin=>Specific style=>http://www.site/forum/template/images

Links-Icons

This is fine:

http:///photo/

This is what happens when I click a photo:

http:///showphoto.php/photo/760/limit/recent

In your vb styles admin for that style those relative image paths like this must be corrected to full url

images/ad/misc

to say

It is guaranteed relative image links wherever they are at. If its your header or such look at that temlate but usually fixing the image paths in the main global style options for the style works. The answer is still the same though you need to fix those relative links in vb to be full url for that custom style your using

Changed it all

Under Image Paths in the control panel for vbulletin.

I have changed all the url to absolute..

Them all being of this nature

http:///buttons

I even went as far as reproducing the /ad/ folder behind the /photo/ directory.

I have emailed you the user name and password to get on my site. You should be able to find it via the PM system in my vbulletin. You already have an account from a long time ago. Acutally I just made you an administrator on my site. You should be able to access the control panel now. The template is called attention.

P.S. I tried absolute urls and it screwed up my WYSIWYG editor and all type of stuff. I am going to switch it back now.

http://www.atlanticblvd.com/photo/index.php

I dont see anything missing on your site except your photopost images??

Looking at your site and what images it is looking for there it looks to me like you have hacked your files. Why is your index page looking for this file which of course does not exist

http://www.atlanticblvd.com/images/lastpost.gif

In Photopost we code our files differently to look for images that exist in our distribution in our images directory. Please replace your modified files with clean files from our Photopost distribution
