Notifying user that their picture has been uploaded ..

I've got my galleries set on moderation right now as I am running a photo contest and not allowing anyone to see the categories or the pictures or info. One of the biggest questions (I've fielded about twenty questions today alone) I get is 'did it upload'?

Is there anyway for once a picture is uploaded for it to take you to a 'thank you for your upload' page or to send an e-mail to them saying that it XX.jpg was uploaded and awaiting moderation?

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Understandable - but considering there is a five to six week period for entries to be uploaded before I moderate them through, they are curious, and asking repeatedly, whether their entries made it into the gallery.

I want to be able to let them know that it got there, not that it was moderated or approved.

You surely can post a suggestion in the suggestions forum for future releases and you can discuss code modification in the mod corner if your trying to figure out how to mod your files

My only question to you is why do you wait 5 or 6 weeks to approve the photos?

Because the entries remain anonymous and the pictures aren't shown until the week of voting. Just how it is.
