email notification upon image move

Is there a way to disable the email notification that gets sent out whenever an administrator moves a picture between galleries? I often have to move many photos, but each one sends out a email to the user who uploaded the picture, and it's a bit obnoxious.

Again, sorry if this has been answered before, but my forum search didn't turn up the exact thing I was looking for.

You would need to alter the appropriate file depending where your doing it and remove the mail() line. Could be adm-misc.php or editphoto.php or adm-photo.php all depends what your doing

Do I need to do that in all three? I'm sorry, but I don't know much about editing PHP files. I just want to make sure the "we moved your image" email never gets sent out. Has anyone else done this?

You could try removing this around line 3682 of pp-inc.php not tested and not supported.

Code:

I have to say this is very annoying and trouble some for my board as well.

We have to move and delete many photos annually to stay within our useage. Once a file is older than two years it goes. Well you can imagine how many emails go out when we delete a catagory with over 1000 picture in it.. or move them to another!

I think this needs to be addressed somehow. Its causes me a lot of headaches every time we do maintenance on the gallery.

Very simple if you do not want to hack your scripts simply turn off notification in admin options when your doing your work and no emails are send out.
