what does rebuilding all medium images do, exactly?

Rebuilds a medium image if you change the threshold. If you turn off the medium feature it is not going to delete mediums that exist already

Rob I am referring to your other thread which ties right into the reason you opened a new thead. You have set your medium size to 0 that is the threshold.

Your not able to make mediums disappear on photos that already have mediums. As noted in the other thread now that you set medium to 0 no new photos will have mediums

That is the size in which you set that will trigger the program that if the photo height or width is over that number we create a medium
