Issue with displaying new fields

I've added a new field drop down menu so that people can identify the type of locomotive, but it does not show the upload picture area. Any ideas?

Where did you add such a field? Some more information would help here. Is this some hard coded edit you did or did you use the additional extra fields per category?

Answer

Hi,

I wanted to add additional fields to the following:

Admin>Edit Categories>PhotoPost Category Editor>Additional Fields>Add a new field type.

I've added new fields but they do not show up in the upload area.

If you have modified code or are using a non current version your first course of action is to upgrade to the current code and unmodified files and if the problem persists you can email support@photopost.com with admin login and url and what version of the software you are using.

I do not see any issues with this functionality if I try this

Same problem here, added a new field but it's not showing up in the upload area. I'm using the latest PP, no changes in original code.

Did you make sure you added it to that specific cat not just the parent cat?

If you setup an extra field in that category and then try and upload to that category the extra fields will be shown try uploading a picture it will forward you to the bulkupload script and they are listed

Oh I see, it's in the next screen. I believe I would like it better to be in the first screen without a second screen. But that's me

The first screen has no category you can select any category there. The reason for the second screen is that is specific to the specific cat you select and thats why all the extra stuff is displayed there.
