What version of the software you using?

I can do the same thing and it works fine so possibly an old bug here thats been fixed in later versions

Wait I do see one interesting thing and this is not a bug at all

Turn on some other sidebar pals and see if things display. Your issue is rather simple when you look at what you have set to display. Your only setting the random pal to display and look your passing a cat variable in the form of 603 and since cat 603 has no photos there is nothing to display

that seems to be the solution... what do i need to remove from the showgallery so it doesnt include the sidebar ?
