Not sure I understand what your saying. Users will normally have access to anything below the Root IE:
http://mysite.com/. That is unless restricted by a .htaccess file in the protected directory. But thats no good either because then they have to Log In a 2nd time just to even See the pictures and then they can still download Them.
You've got me thinking now about Maybe Outside the web root but I'm not sure thats even doable. I'll play with it.

Well I just set the on-the-fly image protection to yes But Without the watermark set to yes Or a path to watermark overlay image. I really didnt see any difference and still got the download/print/etc, box.

Ya I know, Ultimetly though some sort of Switch or setting would stop 95% of the people out there from just downloading them. I could see a real need for such a switch in photopost. Say something that only allows the uploader or admin to actually Download/Print the Original And maybe even the medium size picture too.
In my case I'm trying to prevent someone from downloading my entire background/screensaver art collection I will be putting online or at least make it as hard as possible for them to do. I want them to admire it not download it.
Another case I see would be a parent not having to be concerned that if he/she uploads photos of thier kids to a photopost site some sicko wont come along download a picture of little Suzie, Photoshop it, and upload it to his favorite kidde porn site.
Excluding the cache, such a switch would at least help prevent both instances. Just being able to Download a icon or Small picture doesnt do a lot of good. Just some food for thought. Let me know if you have any more ideas. Thanks...
