Moving Photopost to Home Directory ? How difficult is it to move the photopost folder to the hold folder ? What im trying to do is move it from /albums/ to / Im more worried about redirecting and 301 all the urls... is this this possible ? |
Well I can not really assist you with urls you may have elsewhere but I can tell you how to move Photopost to the root of your site. ;) 1. You go to Photopost admin while logged in and change the global options paths and urls in there removing the albums part in the url and paths so they are correct to go to root. You then save and it will break things dont worry move to number 2 2. FTP to your site and move all the photopost directories and files to your root from the albums folder. Edit your config-inc.php file via ftp and change the $PP_PATH line to remove the /albums off the end so the path is to your root and save and upload. 3. You can then go to photopost and login and go to admin. You want to go to storage options and hit revert and save twice to load the new default global data path you changed in 1 You should then be operational. |
