Auto thumbnail from video?

Can this be done? Instead of having to upload an image with the vid?

Not within the current build no. I beleive this is dependent upon the server having a program called ffmpeg which most server's do not have hense it is not something the developer has spent time on to include in our code since nobody would be able to use it.

I can install the ffmpeg into my server!

but does it mean that I will be able to get vid-thumbnails directly after the installation ?

because I am trying to make a video library on my website and it will look ugly if there are no thumbnails in the hall thing.

I'm sure we all could install ffmpeg, and most shared hosts seem to already have it installed. It would be a neat feature.
