You want photopost to be a standalone but use vb's stylesheet easiest way is to simple edit photopost stylesheet and cross match the style variables to match your forum style

You do admin edit integration and fill in the urls and patha and turn on vb integration but this is not correct as your going to cause your users tons of confusion since they are not going to be logged in and have no way to login to the gallery

If you want Photopost to integrate properly with vbulletin you must reinstall it and select vbulletin integration

but is that still going to allow users who have accounts in photopost to login to photopost?

No its not so if your running a standalone you run a standalone if you want to run a vb3 integrated one you need to install it as a vb integrated install. There is alot that goes into all the switches of using vb3 integration so it is not designed to be used over a standalone install hense you will have issues if you try it
