Making Gallery Pics show in phpBB Forum

Hello all.

I am new to phpBB as well as Photo Post and have very little savvy with the coding and all that it takes to hack these things. But there is one thing that I am desperately trying to do and cannot find the instructions within the board. Surely they exist, though I appearently just do not know the correct terminology or something to search.

Please help!

I have a forum (phpBB, v2.0.22), as well as Photo Post. I would like to insert little gallery pictures (images from Photo Post) into the top of our phpBB forum, that will be 'clickable', leading to the gallery.

Can someone please tell me how to do this?

The rest of the Photo Post is already set up and installed. We had it done by Photo Post, so the user data base and all of that is already tied together.

Also, if anyone happens to know...

I would also like to insert a link in the top of our phpBB that says "Gallery", in the top area where the other links are, next to FAQ, Search, Memberlist, User Groups, Register, etc. I want to insert a link to the Gallery in the phpBB, and a link to the phpBB from the Gallery in the same place.

Have been trying to do this for a couple of weeks and cannot find out where or how to do it - and because I do not have a good understanding of how this works I really need explicit direction.

Any takers? Please!!!

Thanks so much!
Jeanne

You would need to search the mod forum and alter your phpbb to add in a random photo block. As far as adding a gallery link in the forum you need to add that in there header template which I believe is like overall_header.tpl file or something like that in the templates folder. At any rate you can ask specific questions about phpbb on there site's support forum as I do not use phpbb.
